    I got my kinect set up and working. When i use the voice command to turn off xbox it will also shut down my yamaha (surround sound) receiver and the tv, but it will not power down the directive counsel. I went through and use the guide to help set it up,
    it will change channels, let me access the guide option, and even watch certain channels through voice command. I just can't get the directv to shut off at the same time or power on at the same time as my xbox along with everything else. any suggestions on
    how to fix this problem ?

    4k (UHD) Content streaming through Xbox One?

    I have Xbox One and Directv 4K. I've noticed the Xbox blocks the pass through of the 4K and makes my tv not compatible for 4K viewing. Kind of sucks. Hope they update with firmware for it to be possible to still use my xbox connected to directv.

    In xbox settings goto pore and startup then tv and av power, then change xbox turns off cable box off

    Make sure your DirecTV remote is setup for ir and not radio. Go to remote setup in DirecTV setup menu

    Are you connected via a wired or wireless connection?

    I also have DirecTV, but this has not posed much of an issue. If you would, attempt to unplug the direcTV connection to the modem and see if that resolves the issue. If not, come back and reply. If it does, you will need to call your ISP or direcTV.
