    Hi all,

    I have been battling problems for a while trying to get the STB and xbox one to handshake, or so I thought that was the problem. Anyway, the setup I had originally that was not working was the xbox one supplied HDMI cable from STB to xbox one. Then I was
    using a no name hdmi cable from the xbox one to the tv. I also had surround sound beta enabled and 1080p set on the xbox one. All I had to do was switch out the no name cable from the xbox one to the tv with an HDMI w/ ethernet cable and everything started
    working perfectly. All channels, perfect sound.

    DirecTV (HR24-500) Surround Sound Not Working

    I have a DirecTV receiver (HR24-500) and I can't get the Surround Sound (BETA) option to work. When I enable that setting and go back in to the TV app, I get no picture or sound. I've tried to change the settings on the DirecTV box itself, and have had no
    luck. I was able to get picture and video if I turn off the Dolby Digital on the DirecTV receiver, but of course, there's no actual surround sound because the satellite box isn't sending Dolby signals. As soon as I turn on the Dolby Digital on the DirecTV
    box, the video freezes and there's no audio. Has anyone gotten this to work properly?

    I HAVE XBOX ONE AND CANT WATCH LIVE TV THROUGH THE XBOX ONE NO PICTURE SOUND OR NOTHING.THEY SENT ME A REPLACEMENT AND THE SAME THING HAPPENS I HAVE A DIRECTV GENIE BOX AND THE XBOX ONE ALSO DETECTS A SIGNAL FROM DIRECTV BOX BUT WONT DO ANYTHING

    Losing TV/cable signal need help

    i get the lost TV signal with my Directv Genie sometimes; I also sometimes get a picture with no sound. In every case but one turning my Directv box on and off solved the problem. In the one case where it didn't fix it I unplugged the power supply and
    swapped out the HDMI cable between the XBox and my Pioneer receiver and that resolved the issue (in that case I had no sound or picture, and going to TV settings in the XBox One returned a TV symbol, nothing else).

    My setup is Directv->XBox One->Pioneer VSX-1121 receiver.

    I'm thinking of simply plugging my XBox directly into my receiver and doing the same with my Directv box, thus doing away with having my satellite cable going into my XBox One. So far it seems like a hell of a lot more trouble than benefit.

    Yeah I just tried watching my directv through my xbox one and there's no picture. Wouldn't let me do a set up in settings. Was working fine a couple of days ago. Had to plug my directv back into tv. This sucks. Been searching for a reason. Can't find anything.
