Directv HR-44 poor quality with live TV

I a reposting this, because it is an issue and it needs to be handled.

I paused and took a picture then disconnected the xbox and took another photo to illustrate the differences

I have tried calling xbox support, posting on here, and nothing has been done. I have tried upgrading the xbox, tried changing the resolution, holding the buttons in for 3 minutes, yadayadayada, tried different HDMI cables, changed the the stereo sound
all the dumb stuff that they suggest, and nothing has fixed this issue.

Watched another night of PrimeTime TV with this issue, actually disconnected the xbox half way thru, actually noticed an improvement in the color also.

Is anyone else noticing it? Am I the only one who see's it? Should I take the X1 back? Does MS care?

 

I believe I am having the same issue. I just got a brand new Samsung 60" LED TV. I have been tweaking the settings for several days and based on the reviews I expect to be getting better picture quality in live TV. The FIFA demo looks amazing on the TV
but live TV looks good, not great. I started searching for this issue when I found your post. I will attempt the same test that you did eliminating the Xbox to see if it looks better.

 

I added another few pics of ABC logo from last night.. Very noticeable

I am now using my xbox as a book end until this issue is fixed. It is very annoying seeing this issue on all the new shows. And the hell I am watching Walking Dead with this issue, as the darks are most affected. Common Microsoft and help me out here.
