Discus and support DirecTV Genie client fast forward issue in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; It is NOT fixed in the preview.     DirecTV Genie client fast forward issue


    It is NOT fixed in the preview. Every update I get for the preview I check it but still not working. (Directv mini genie)

  2. No sounds with Directv Genie Client

    The picture and everything looks good but no sounds I am using a samsung2333hd tv and directv genie client model c41 - 500. I have tried to multiple hdmi cables, reconfigured watch tv and turned Dolby surround off on the genie client. What do I need to
    do now?

    Got the update, problem is still not resolved, very disappointing, but it was mentioned that it was being looked into, hopefully the next update will resolve this.

    Got the update, extremely disappointed that his not been addressed even tho it was stated it was. going to be. I had a feeling the last few days when the news stories were not mentioning this as in there. Big fail Microsoft, Big Fail

    Big disappointment. Doesn't seem to be a priority to fix. I would like things to work before time is spent adding features. I never watch live tv other then sports. I use a HDMI splitter when I want to watch TV I switch inputs. If I wanted to switch
    inputs to watch tv I would have gotten a ps4.

  7. It is really rediculous that the biggest software company in the world can't fix this. I feel like this clown Studbucket33 is working out of his garage with his drinking buddies to program the OS for one of the most advanced gaming systems in the world.
    Is this how Microsoft operates these days? BTW, if you'd like it to work just send the tv signal from your genie mini client to a Logitech Revue (or apparently other Google TV devices), then to the XBONE, then to tv. Just did it today and it works.

    Yeah they got our money already. No incentive for them to fix these things. They should have waited a year to get the features they still advertise as it being actually to work. "All in One" console. More like "All in One half" a console.

  9. I just bought an Xbox One and I'm seriously considering returning it because of this issue. This problem has seriously been around since launch and hasn't been fixed? Really?

    I disconnected mine today for now... Until I can get this issue fixed and a Kinect extension cable, it is useless to me.

    you can buy a HD splitter, temp work around for now. Only way we will get this fixed is to complain more. Its been a known issue for 5 months now.

    Yeah and complaining on forums is a lost cause as they don't really check it that much. If we call Microsoft Xbox One support every day, then maybe it will get them to prioritize it higher.

    With all due respect, the fact that such a major issue has not been addressed is rediculous and defeats half the purpose of what this system is supposed to be. I finally had to give in and disconnect the xBox One because of how difficult it is to watch
    our DVR when we can not fast forward and see where we are.

    But honestly, why should you be in a rush to fix it? You already have my money for the xBox one and the year subscription for the Gold which as of now is going to a total waste. Hopefully by the time I have to renew, you have this issue dealt with.

    I really regret putting out $500 for this system and wish I hadn't, but it is too late now.
