    Directv DVR controls not working after update


    I have an HR22 receiver. I just deleted the Xbox One from my Harmony Software and completely readded the Xbox One and the activity for it, to no avail. There is still an issue. It at least responds sometimes now, but not reliably enough to be useable.
    I haven't gotten Fast Forward or Rewind to go any faster than 1x. I also did this with a new replacement Xbox that came today because my original had the problem where it turns on for 1 second then shuts right off (wiggling the power cord while turning it
    one made it eventually work).

    This has to be a software issue on the Xbox one. Voice commands and input from the Xbox One controller still control the DVR perfectly fine.

    Any word from Microsoft on this? Any kind of acknowledgment would be nice.

    Problem still persists, and not even an acknowledgement from MS that the problem exists.

    Is this even going to be acknowledged or fixed, or am I just peeing in the wind here?

    Just to note, this isn't related to the Harmony remotes at all. I am having the same issue with 3 different universal remotes, none of them are Logitech. Voice commands and controller still work, but none of the remotes do.

    I would like to add, when they get around to fixing this, I REALLY hope they update other generic controls on the remote (specifically the menu up/down/left/right/select buttons) so they are passed through to the STB as well. For example, if I am at the
    home screen or in an app, I would expect my menu navigation to move around the Xbox selections on screen. But, when I an watching TV, I would expect those same navigation buttons to now send IR codes to by STB instead. If they did that, I could control my
    STB DVR and apps like Netflix and Hulu without having to change modes on my remote every time.

    This is such a blatant oversight, I don't know how it ever made it out of testing.

    Fantastic idea. Right now I have the directional buttons mapped to my DVR and have the Xbox directions on a separate page on my remote screen. When using the Watch TV, all commands should be relayed to the DVR.

    This is definitely an issue with the Xbox One, not any STB hardware or remotes. Everything was working fine before the update. Tried watching TV 30 minutes after update, and none of the media controls on my remote work anymore.

    When I press play/ff/rewind on the remote, the Xbox One OSD highlights the button I pressed, but my STB never receives an IR signal. If I use the controller to perform the same actions, it works fine. I've tried this with 3 different universal remotes, all
    of them exhibit the same issue.

    This needs a patch ASAP.
