    Directv connected, picture zooms in when changed to a movie channel


    Anyone else having this issue? Works fine on all other channels, but when I change it to hbo for example, the picture zooms in and the only way I can fix it is to power off and on my directv receiver.

    TV Channels get shrunk!

    Not sure how else to put this other than my resolution is getting screwed up on certain channels (standard def I believe)

    Example:

    ESPN HD is the best quality. That channel is perfect when viewed using the Xbox One. But when I switched for my kids to the Hub network, a network that isn't really HD, the picture was shrunk to a smaller square.Before when the DirecTv was hooked up to my
    receiver instead of Xbox, the channel at least filled the screen.

    Obviously I can switch the Display Mode to Zoom, but then whenever I go back to another channel, say ESPN, it stays on Zoom when it should be native.

    Can anyone help?

    No Picture/Sound with DirecTV - Sync Issues?

    I just hooked up my DirecTV box to my Xone and all the channels work fine except the movie channels like HBO, Starz, etc. Whenever I go to one of those channels either recorded or live the entire TV app just freezes. Eventually I can get back to another
    basic channel thankfully. Anyone know what might be up?

    Hey Suricx1,

    This often has to do with how the cable box is outputting the channel.

    When on an SD channel, have you tried hitting the Menu button and changing the third setting down from Native to Zoom or Stretch?
