DirecTV and GenieGo out of home access?

I've hardly looked at the XBOX One since we got it, and saw a DirecTV app on a list today.

Does thiis have to be on same router/hardwired to my DVR and act as another genie box in the home- or will this work with my GenieGo = which allows me to watch any of my DVRs from about anywhere?

Flash of video static every five seconds

My XBOX ONE is now flashing video static about every five seconds. This happens during games, the home screen, even Directv.

I am running Directv through the One to a Panasonic Viera 60 inch plasma.

Just started this morning. Unusable.

Anyone know of a fix?

NFL App - DirecTV not a provider option

Actually you probablywon't see directv in that list, the NFL redzone in the NFL app is the NFL operated version that they sell to cable networks outside of the Directv Sunday Ticket package. With DTV there is no stand alone redzone channel so they assume
you'll be watching it from home or via the NFL Sunday Ticket DTV app.

I am not sure what you're asking but I have DirecTV with one 'big' Genie and three "sibling" genies. I am able to control the entire system from away from home (as I would without the Xbox) and the Xbox/Kinect goes an amazing job at using the proper commands.

As a side note, there isn't a DirecTV app on the Xbox One as of the writing of this post. The DirecTV app was released for the Xbox 360.

Same with me. Directv works great with my XB1. The Kinect voice function seems to be getting worse. I've given up on trying to control the XB1 through voice and programmed all my stuff into my Harmony remote.

Can I get DIRECTV Everywhere without DIRECTV TV service?

At this time we do not offer streaming-only packages. You will need to subscribe to one of our TV Packages to have access to DIRECTV programming on your computer, tablet, or cell phone.

I don't expect xbox to be used as a dvr but have full access to directv dvr menus ... it might be better if xbox would allow a choice using one guide or allowing use of directv guide and tools

I guess we'll find out soon because I ordered the Amazon Anniv. Edition and I don't have DirecTV because Amazon's FAQs said this:
