Direct TV and my 3-D Channels not supported

    Direct TV and my 3-D Channels not supported


    With my Xbox One pass thu with Direct TV everything seems to work well except my 3D Channels. An error comes up saying my TV does not support 3D tv but of course it does.

    If my HDMI goes straight to my LG 3D TV I have the channel support, but the pass thu to my XB1 it doesnt. Is there somrthing I'm missing in set up? Even the new firmware update I just downloaded yesterday did not help.

    HDMI HAS POOR PICTURE QUALITY

    Hi Hermes.....

    I cant see that your answer to the 5.1 being supported is helping me Direct TV and my 3-D Channels not supported :D. I do NOT get 5.1 surround thorough the HDMI pass through. It may be supported through optical, but in my case it is not working.

    Its a Direct TV Genie HD DVR connected to a Yamaha V573, and then onto the Samsung 55" LED Tv.

    Any ideas?

    Does Xbox One support Direct TV? When i look at some apps (Fox for example) Direct TV is not a supported provider. Before i add another TV box for my office, does

    When to expect 3D Blu-ray and Dolby Digital support/patches?

    The big issue is just not there is no 3D support for the drive, its the omission of letting it pass thru the HDMI. I have direct TV, which has PPV channels and regular channels that are 3D. I embraced the notion of an all in one console, so seeing as though
    3D doesn't pass through leaving my premium and subscription channels useless is just wrong. For now 3D movies I use my Panasonic drive, and although that isn't right this far into the game, it does work. but to render my Direct TV channels useless is truly
    unforgivable.

    CrazyHorse, Don't forget your X! surprisingly in this day and age ridicoulsly doesn't support 3d. That's 3D via BluRay or passthru such as for Direct TV 3D channels.

    I too need to know if Xbox One will ever support 3D. I have a brand new Vizio 3D TV and my satellite provider has 3D channels but of course I cannot view them while connected to the XBX1. If Microsoft is never going to support this, let me know so can re-configure
