Direct 3D

May I ask which operating system are you using? And what is the make and model of the graphic card?

DirectX may be corrupted or video Hardware acceleration may have to be increased. Try the below methods and check if this helps.

Method 1: Download and install DirectX. Refer: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113/

Method 2: Changing Hardware Acceleration.

a. Click Start, select Control Panel, clickAppearance and Personalization, click Personalization, clickDisplay Settings, and then click Advanced Settings.
b. Click the Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change Settings.

Note: Change Settings will be disabled if the graphics card drivers do not support disabling hardware acceleration.

c. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider all the way to the right (Full). This is the basic acceleration setting.
d. Click OK twice, and then close the window.

CrazyHorse, Don't forget your X! surprisingly in this day and age ridicoulsly doesn't support 3d. That's 3D via BluRay or passthru such as for Direct TV 3D channels.

I too have direct tv and no 3d signal will pass through. Unfortunately, this may lead to me disconnecting my direct tv box from my Xbox one. The Xbox one is supposed to be the center of my living room and my entertainment experience. Without letting 3d pass
through and without Blu-ray 3d support, it's actually limiting my entertainment experience.

Xbox must be connected through a high speed HDMI cable and cannot be hooked through a non 3d reciever.(must be direct to TV) I have 55 inch Samsung ju7700 Yamaha receiver. In Xbox settings the allow 3d ticker stays grey till I hook it up direct.

The amount of 3D movies that are out now or are coming out would point in the other direction. Also you can buy a rear projection HD 3D tv for super cheap as well.
