dimming screen during videos?!

Discus and support dimming screen during videos?! in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; my xbox one keeps dimming after 10min of watching any video/movie.     my xbox one keeps dimming after 10min of watching any video/movie. I have to hit a button on my controller to wake it up. Does anyone know how to turn this off?

    Are you in the Xbox One Preview program by chance? If so, you're going to want to post about these preview concerns and problems in the Xbox One Preview Forums for the best visibility and troubleshooting steps.

    screen dimming during netflix

    This just started happening to me yesterday. If I pressed the back button on the remote it would come back to normal, but it's super annoying.

    And this is only occurring while in the Netflix app.

    Screen Dimming During Video Streaming

    HI GH Torque,

    I'm 100% sure that HBO Now has an issue with this, and it's on the app side. I use most of the other services you listed, and personally don't have any issues with dimming in them. If you're having issues I would suggest doing a hard reset. With the console
    on, hold the power button down for about 8 seconds until it turns off. After it's powered off, then turn it back on. See is this resolves the issues with the apps other than HBO Now. For HBO you're going to need to wait for an update on their end.,
