    just turn it off and on it happens to me too but it seems to solve it

    Happens to me roughly 7 out of 10 times I turn my TV and xbox one back on

    Issue for me too, glad it's not specifically my TV! Just got the Sunset OD bundle and just started doing this today. Will try the power button and unplug thing and see if it works...if not guess I'll try another HDMI port. Very annoying to say the least
    especially when I'm trying to restart on a paused game...

    i like how they mark the question as answered but yet its still a reoccurring problem on the platform months later. GREAT LAUNCH GUYS ive experienced more problems with my xbox one then i have with ANY other console in the history of video games. The best
    you guys can do to solve this problem is mark it as answered?? Why not mark it as FIXED.....??? Must be too difficult to give us a working 500$ console. We expect too much

    Been having the same issues as well for the past 3 days. dim when powered on, only way I could get to fix is a hard reboot or restarting through the settings menu

    I started having this issue within the past week ago or so too. When I turn on my xbox it is very dim on my tv like it has gone idle. I switch through menus and start apps and it still stays dim. I thought it was my tv so I moved my Hdmi so it went straight
    from my tv to my cable box and the display looked fine. Plugged it back into xbox and it was dim again, so definitely an issue with the XB1. I did a hard restart of the xbox and when it powered back on it was fine. This has become a daily issue, so I hope
    microsoft can fix it so I do not have to do a hard restart on my XB1 each day.

    Last couple of days this has been happenig to me.dim on start up but ok on reboot.seems to keep doing it if xbox is turned off for a few hours.seems its happening to a few people so hope it gets a fix soon

    I unplugged the console for five minutes then plugged it back in and restarted it.
