Digitally downloaded games "taking too long to load" GTA V not even downloading.

I have always preferred to have my games as digital download but stupid things like this make me wish I had changed my mind. I currently have Rocket League, ARK: Survival Evolved and Forza Horizon 2 downloaded and all of them, when attempted to start,
say that "For some reason X has taken too long to download, please try again", so I can't even play them.

This also happened with Grand Theft Auto V, so I thought maybe if I un-installed the game and then re-installed, it would maybe work again.

When I try to re-download I receive and error with a message about the game/files being corrupt and that I should re-install the game. Well, I'm trying to re-install but the Xbox won't let me. I bought GTA V last week when it was on offer for £27.50 and so
far am more than annoyed with how it has turned out, not just GTA V, but every game I have downloaded.





I am aware that I will get a copy and pasted response because Micro$oft don't give a *** about their customers, as long as they get money everyday, they're sound. If anyone has any help I would much appreciate it!





I have tried many different 'solutions' and none of them seemed to work.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare "Queued"

Hello fellow gamers, I have a problem with AW being queued.

I was downloading AW( Digital Copy) but it was taking to long so I downloaded GTA V(Disk). When GTA V finished, AW just sits in the game tab and says "Queued". It isn't even in the Queue tab. I can't cancel it, I can't install it, and I can't uninstall it.
It's just sitting there saying Queued. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

How much space is all the GTA V DLC?

I'm getting GTA V soon and last time I bought it on 360 Digital. The download took a day or two maybe. XBONE games need to download anyway but since I have the disc and take it offline it goes MUCH faster. The only download I need to fear are the updates. Can anyone tell me the amount of space the GTA V DLC is all together? and if possible the Updates? Because I know that the amount of Content put in after release is monumental.

 

Hi, the first thing I would suggest is to sign out of and back into your account on the Xbox, if that doesn't help try removing and adding your account back to the Xbox.

The next thing I would try is to eject any disc that is in the drive, press and hold the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds, the Xbox will power off, disconnect the power supply from the mains power outlet for around 5 minutes, reconnect the power supply
and power the Xbox on and try the games again.

Should that not help then a factory restore using the option to keep your games & apps would be the next step. Worst case scenario would be a full factory restore but try the option to keep your games & apps first.

I would say the factory restore option would be the best option.
