Kinda proving my point, thanx. If I buy physical then I wouldn't have to print anything out. It comes with it. Yeah it's not hard to do, but there are many & more on consoles that can't or don't know how. And anything I get that comes with the disc is much
likely going to be better than what you print on 8x11. Its only a 60$ game so I'm not looking for a say, signed lithograph or art book. I just miss when these things were standard in a game purchase...Saying your angry may be hasty, but you do seem to rail
against anyone that doesn't think as you do. Cheers...

Yes it could happen with discs but it's much less likely to because most people trade them in when they're finished. Once traded in, you delete it.

 

Why do I need a printed map or one that comes in the case? Last night I pressed option>world map and I had it.

Same with Red Dead Redemption. Bought that on disc looked at actual folded map that came with it once. Used the ingame map every time after that.

The biggest and most important advantage that Digital has over Disc is that people with kids won't have to worry about them destroying the disc (which can get expensive, really fast!)

I got some finger print smudges on some of my game discs for Xbox 1, and Blu-ray discs are meant to be more durable than Xbox 360 DVD game discs. My disc for COD BO2 has tonnes of scratches (lazer marks from disc drive mostly) and finger print smudges and
my slim console can still play it fine. Well COD developers know kids are into it so they probably put more effort in their disc manufacturing process. Halo Reach is terrible. I had to get a second disc/physical copy and even if it has a microscopic mark on
the disc, it says disc unreadable or unrecognized. And the warranty for Halo Reach discs is terribly short, only what 14 or 30 days instead of the common 60 and 90 day warranty which other games offer.

I have a mixture of both, sometimes I buy discs, other times I get the digital version.

 

I don't really have a preference. I will buy which other is cheaper, normally that is disc but I've got a few digital games on the cheap side.

 

I prefer retail disks as they are cheaper. More places, competitive pricing and more sales. if a digital sale is on and there is a game I am interested in playing and it is cheaper than retail I will buy.
