Digital Vs. Physical

Lol. @Rand. Who's gonna download and print a map or compendium. This was a discussion bout digital vs physical...This isnt a PC forum yeah? It's an X1 forum. You seem angry???....

 

Fact...disc versions comes with soundtrack, paper map, 3 stickers, and a compendium. Just wanna know if a digital version comes with that? Silly I know, but I like that stuff..

 

^^ I bought the digital version of it and I got nothing, but the game. That's all I want though. I guess a map would be cool.

 

Yeah. I get it...I like the minutea that comes with it...

 

with digital if your account gets compromised then you lose your games. I can play a physical disc on any machine with any gamer tag whenever I want how many times I want. Plus when I'm done I can sell it and make some of my money back.

It hurts me to look at my 360 and its 96 digital games. Over £1000 worth of content just sitting there that I can't sell. If I had it all on disc I could at least get a couple hundred quid back.

That's why I rarely go digital.

Digital = You don't have a copy of the game and are out of luck if the servers aren't working

I seem angry? How do you figure that?

People print the digital extras from PC games all the time. If I wanted that stuff I'd much rather have the art work on photo quality paper suitable for framing rather than some folded cheap paper in a case.

You asked if it was included with digital and I answered your question. There is no reason the same thing couldn't be done on the One. You'd access the extras from the main game menu and print to a networked printer.

I don't use IE on the One so it may already have the ability to do it. I can see my networked One from every computer in my house so I'll assume my printer can see it too.

And are out of luck if the disc got a scratch,if your Xbox one DVD/BD driver got an issue.

 

Disc = 1 set of pros vs cons

Digital = Another set of pros vs cons

Which do you prefer = people bickering over petty differences in their preferences.

 

Disk / 2xbox ones = 2 disks so my kids can play with me = double the price

Digital / 2xbox Ones = 1 copy of game downloaded on 2 xbox's = 2 for 1 deal

Disc=you can uninstall the game if you dont play it anymore to save space(ok with digital it may also work but the reinstall would take a lot more time i think)

Digital=you dont have to swap discs

 

Digital you'll have to keep deleting and reinstalling to make room or buy another HDD.

 

@Leonhart -- I see what you're saying, but the reinstall would depend on your Internet speed. If I'm done with a game, I'll remove it from my hard drive. I think I've purchased about 25 Xbox One games, and I still have about 130 GB free.

@Bran -- That same thing could happen to people who buy discs.
