    Digital TV Tuner


    Hi there - I finally managed to get a TV tuner, brand new. It arrived today and I unboxed it, plugged the USB in to the lower USB port, connected the aerial.

    I live in lancashire in the UK.

    Initial setup went Ok, I used Antenna, Freeview then let it find 200ish channels. Just as it was about to finish it came up with the message something had gone wrong, so I tried again, then I tried Freeview-national - every time get to 99% completed then
    it fails.

    So I read the troubleshooting bits I could find - I reset the TV, rand it all again - SAME problem!

    So I reset it again, then restarted the XBOX, then retried finding it - still no go - failing at 99% of channels found.

    Any help appreciated.

    OK, I have now hard reset the xbox one, unplugged all peripherals (kinect 2, charge n play and external HDD), reset the TV from troubleshooting and rebooted AGAIN. Still getting an error at 99% just as it finished finding all the channels.

    Advice?

    Hi,

    Have you tried setting up LiveTV with the Cable option?

    In the initial setup wizard you can choose USB, and after this step you can choose between Antenna and Cable.

    Unfortunately, the digital TV tuner will not work with Freesat. Freesat uses the DVB-S (Satellite) broadcast standard, whereas the Digital TV Tuner only supports DVB-T (Terrestrial).
