    Just bought a Digitial TV Tuner for my UK Xbox One S at my Parents', can't get the thing to work at the moment because of the useless manual which has text that's so tiny it's impossible to read even with my glasses on.

    Anyway to come to my question, which port on the back of my TV do I need to plug the Tuner? There are 3 HDMI ports, and my Xbox One S is plugged into HDMI 1, which works fine.

    The Tuner is plugged into one of the USB ports on the back of my Xbox One S, but has not been picked up when I switch on the console.

    What am I doing wrong here?

    The digital tv tuner was released to selected European countries, UK , France and Spain. Haven"t herd about it being released in Australia please provide link to source.

    The digital tuner plugs into a usb port instead of the hdmi port. Its great if you don't have satellite or cable tv but as far as I know if you do its no solution.

    I'm guessing you're in the UK you can get an "Xbox One Digital TV Tuner" which plugs into the back of the Xbox, which you can then use to connect your aerial to. About £25.

    Let's you do all the cool stuff TV stuff, and also lets you stream the TV to PCs/phones/tablets around the house too.

    Enen, that's not a rumour, the Xbox One digital TV tuner is coming out in October and will cost 25 quid. It basically allows you to watch Freeview on the console, pause Live TV, use voice commands to change channels, works with DVB, DVB-2 and a 3rd one which
    is DVB-C..? Anyways, you get your aerial lead and plug it into the tuner and then plug the USB bit into the Xbox One's many USB ports to be able to use the OneGuide. Should be able to use the Smartglass as an Xbox One media remote too.

    The TV tuner is an alternative to a set top box which won't require you to use the HDMI in port.

    If the laptop had a built in tv card/tuner, then yes, as it then becomes like a tv and usually includes s-video and composite ports. mine used to plug into the composite ports on my tv tuner and this made it possible to play.
