Digital Release Date Question

Hi Everyone,

Release dates for both, digital and retail versions of games for XONE are supposed to be the same now, we all know that. However, release dates are (usually) different for the US and European markets (Tuesday and Friday, respectively). For example: the release
date for the upcoming Thief game is stated to be 25th of February in the US, but 28th of February in the UE market. My question is: is the digital release date unified for both markets (like in the case of Arcade titles) or does the three day difference still
apply? All of the games that are currently available on Xbox One to download have been released on the same day: 22th of November, so I cannot tell how the system works based on that.

Release Date Question

When you reserved your console you should have been made aware of which edition you were reserving. You will need to look at your receipt or confirm with gamestop

 

The game would be made available when ever it releases in your region.

 

Microsoft don't control when a game releases, that is up to the developer, for example, Tomb Raider came out on the 28th for the US, but came out on the 31st here in the EU.
