Digital or Physical

I am planning on pre-ordering the game Anthem and I'm not sure if the product is in a digital or physical form or if there is a choice between them. Also note that I have not tried buying the game yet because I want to be sure that I am buying the Digital
copy, so if somebody could clear this up for me that would be awesome.

The lower cost for digital is already here, just need to look for sales. In Games on Demand I bought several games on Sale that were lower than I'd pay in a game store, most were $4.99 with some for $2.99 and that doesn't include Free Games with Gold.

!00% Digital also ensures revenue goes to the people that actually create the Games in the first place. Plastic Trinkets and bartering are a thing of the past. Now society simply uses a thing called money and pays the person or people for what they want.

GameStop and Barterers, feel free to barter away until the bitter end. Then those people can put on their rose tinted glasses and reminisce about the "glory days" and "when gaming was fun".

Agree with both the above. I'm already all digital on my 360. Switching games is sooo smooth compared to changing a physical disc every time I want to play a different game. I'd never want to go back to physical.

 

It depends on where you're buy it from and what you choose.

If you pre-order from your console or here - Buy Anthem™ Standard Edition - Microsoft Store - it'll be digital. If you pre-order from other websites,
it'll note whether it's a digital code or if it's a disc.

 

When ordering from a retailer like Amazon, it will usually say " buy download" or "digital code". Make sure you don't order from a shady site, though. You can be scammed if you aren't careful. If I were you, I'd order directly on your Xbox from the Microsoft
Store. That way you know you are buying a legitimate digital copy.

Depends on where you're getting it from, however I strongly advise you to get the digital copy because trust me it sucks when your game disc breaks and you have to get another one.
