Digital or Physical?

Are you guys going all digital, sticking with physical copies or a bit of both this time around?

I personally like having and collecting the physical copies in disc form, so whenever possible I always buy physical copies.

^ And considering that not having the disc tray spinning also reduces heat? Always HDD install. The ultimate sale has been the best I've seen so far though the regular prices are always more then the retail stores. Now I wonder if the next box will be backwards
compat with xbla? I hear the PS4 won't be as it's an x86 based console.

i really like having a physical case on my shelf like a trophy or something, and i'm a sucker for tchotchke's included in collector editions...but i find myself wanting to play one game one minute and another game in the next, completely randomly deciding
what to play and when, and being super lazy and not wanting to change discs every 5 minutes. i also like to be able to borrow and lend games with friends...and if one of my friends is on and wants to play a game i'm not playing, it'd be easier and faster to
pause my game and hop into a match with digital copies...i'll probably go 50/50 next generation between digital and physical, maybe 70/30 in favor of digital. biggest problem i see is with hard drive size and internet speed, both i think could be null if cloud
and whatnot becomes what sony and microsoft hope they become.

This question has already been asked by others' numerous times, but since you insist, I've been going all digital since the Xbox One released and have not regretted it once. It's so convenient and fast. I don't ever have to get up to put a game disc in the
tray or worry about broken or stolen discs. And with the Games with Gold and Deals with Gold promotions, the future is looking mighty bright for digital on the Xbox One.

Depends on the game, really. I prefer to go with the physical copy. Even thought digital is easier if something happens to the game during download or while playing then you are out $60 or so. I buy most games from EB Games with a $3 insurance.. meaning
if the game is messed up in anyway, I can return it for a new copy and just have to pay another $3 to insure it for another 12 months.

 

Digital for me, but that's because I buy a lot of games on PC and won't be buying too many Xbox One games per year. I like the convenience of digital and being able to switch games instantly without getting up to swap discs, but the price of some games is
silly - literally £15-20 difference between the digital and disc copy sometimes, plus obviously you can't sell, trade in, lend out, or give away digital games, so I can totally understand why many people still prefer physical media as you're paying less and
have more rights.

 

I prefer having a large collection of games people can browse through when they visit my house.

 

Digital unless it's Collector's Edition I really want.

 

Physical... Its just smarter....

Trade it to gamestop, amazon, best buy or sell it on ebay when you are completely done with it.

Only buy digital when there is a sale.

 

I prefer physical copies than digital. My country has slow internet, so it would take an age to download a large game and chew a good portion of the data cap. I do like the convenience of not having to stand up and swap discs over with the digital games
that I do have.

 

Depends. I have some digital and some physical. If I am unsure about a game then I will always buy physical if possible because if I do not like it I can take it back and exchange it for something else.

Physical here, I always end up trading my games to buy more games so yeah...

I also love having the hard copy, going to midnight launches at EB, good times all round!!!

I do obviously buy arcade games digitally cause there's no other way, but they are cheap and generally worth it!
