Digital offline question?

I picked up the AC bundle for my nephew for his birthday. He doesn't have internet but im gonna do all the updating and installing before hand for the games. He shouldn't have any problems playing the games offline right?

Xbox live downloaded game prices?

Digital Xbox games can all be played offline.

You do need to go online for the initial set up, which you'll be doing anyway, then after that he'll be able to play all the games offline.

There are a few games like Destiny and Titanfall that require an Internet connect, but if they do need a connection, it will say so on the game case.

Nope, single player games usually works offline.

We moved place on Saturday and still waiting for a telecommunications company to get us sorted and we live in a city. I tried playing Happy Wars on Xbox 360. It has both single player and multiplayer modes. But it wouldn't let me launch the game cause my
house still doesn't have internet connection, and that you must be connected to XBL to play even single player in Happy Wars.

As for Xbox 1, Microsoft did a "policy removal" of having mandatory 24-hour check-ins with XBL servers because lots of peps were against it, just like they did with the idea of your console will brick if Kinect wasn't connected. But I guess it also depends
on the game and game developer.

In reply to your question, no xbox one does not need to constantly be connected to the internet. It can be used fully offline though you wont be able to access the microsoft store to buy digital games. You can play a digital game offline but you wont be
able to play multiplayer xbox live. Hopefully this answers your question
