    If I were to pass my xbox one on to some one else and leave all the games I have bought digitaly on the hard drive could they sign in on the xbox live and play them ?

    I'll be going 90% digital I think. The only games I will get physical copies are will be ones that I'm still not sure about or ones that may have a short campaign with no replay value. Those I will just buy and sell as soon as I'm done with.

    So I couldn't not delete my xbox account they would have to be sighned in as me?

    No, if you delete your Account, You games are still assigned to your name, if in the future you get another Xbox One, Your purchased games will still be assigned to your account, and you could re-download them

    So it makes sense for me to keep the console I'd loose ryse,dead rising,max curse of brotherhood,peggle 2,halo about 130 pound worth I have no disc based games so I'd make a massive loss in the end!

    You do not have to keep the console. As i said, if you sell it, but get one in 2 years time, perhaps when there is a cheaper slimmer version. Then you still own the game. You did not lose the money. You only lost the money, if you do not plan on buying an

    Yea the plan was not to get one ever again I'll keep it for some exclusives don't really wanna loose that much money and I'd be paranoid some one having my account

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. If the profile that was on the console, set that console as home then you will be able to play the games that are downloaded to the console, even if the profile isn't on there. Note if the person you bought
    it from gets a new console and changes the home console you will lose access to these games.

    It would be in your best interest to just wipe the hard drive by doing a
    full factory reset    , this way you start fresh. Full factory reset is where you remove everything.

    If the system wasn't fully reset to factory it keeps the old account info. My brother had this when he bought the xbox one off of a friend.
