Digital games will NOT launch

Discus and support Digital games will NOT launch in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; All of my digital games are unable to launch. I get pushed back to the home screen every time.     Digital games will NOT launch


    All of my digital games are unable to launch. I get pushed back to the home screen every time. I can only launch disc games. I have power cycled, reset my xbox to factory settings and deleted my content but the issue has still persisted. I am up to date
    on software. I can only launch apps like hulu, netflix or a game from a disc. Any digital download I am unable to play.

    I'll be going 90% digital I think. The only games I will get physical copies are will be ones that I'm still not sure about or ones that may have a short campaign with no replay value. Those I will just buy and sell as soon as I'm done with.

    Hey AskingMrSaenz -

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Which games, specifically, have you tried that are resulting in this issue? Also, when did this issue first start to occur?

    I notice that you said you already
    factory reset     your Xbox One console. Did you do that using the option that allows you to keep your games and apps? If so, the next option to try would be the full factory reset option. I understand that it's totally not the ideal solution but it's worth
    a try.

    im in the preview program. It just started today with the same problem. My wife is also in the preview program and hers is working fine.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. If the profile that was on the console, set that console as home then you will be able to play the games that are downloaded to the console, even if the profile isn't on there. Note if the person you bought
    it from gets a new console and changes the home console you will lose access to these games.

    It would be in your best interest to just wipe the hard drive by doing a
    full factory reset    , this way you start fresh. Full factory reset is where you remove everything.

    If the system wasn't fully reset to factory it keeps the old account info. My brother had this when he bought the xbox one off of a friend.
