Digital games' region restrictions

So, I'm about to purchase some (digital copies of) games from Microsoft but it's not clear to me wether they're region locked or not. All the major cd key selling websites mark every game's region restriction, Microsoft doesn't. Does it mean that all of them are region free?

The reason i asked this is I'm living in the UK now but I'm moving back to an EU country (Hungary) soon and i'd like to use these games back home too.

They are not region locked from xbox one and over HOWEVER if you receive a code it is

When you buy a game from the Microsoft Store you must use the region in which the game will be used to check if it is available in that region.

For example, if you are in the UK but will actually use the games in the EU, at the bottom of the Microsoft Store you must change the region, that way you can see if the game is available in that region.

What game is it you are trying to purchase? Sometimes it's restrictions on digital content and distribution in that region. It's possible to find a disc copy of that game that is compatible with the region of Xbox console you have.

Since you're in a region that is not supported, you won't be able to purchase games digitally. Using a different region to bypass region restrictions also violates the terms of service and puts you at risk for being banned.

US games used to work if you bought them digitally. I think it's restricted now regarding what regions you can buy from.
