Digital games on multiple accounts

On my Xbox one I have 2 accounts. I wanted to know, if I bought a game off the xbox market place on my second account would I be able to play that game while on my first account?

myVIP rewards on game gifting?

Do I collect reward points via myVIP when I buy a game via digital game gifting on the Microsoft/Xbox Marketplace? I especially interested to buy games for LAN Partys on my 4 Xbox One Consoles or 5 Xbox Consoles (incl. 360).

The best way would be to declare multiple home console (1., 2., 3., ...) and get multiple licenses, but today the only way is to get multiple discs and one digital license for building up a local area network setup.

Creating a second account with Xbox Live Gold would allow 4 Player LAN with Xbox Live and I could get 10% off for the digital licenses. That could be sheaper as buying 1 digital license and 2 disc games, especially when it comes to dlcs.

Currently, there is no way to transfer a digital game between multiple accounts (Except for gameshare of course which you can't take advantage of due to the account ban).

Yes, but the account that owns the game must also be signed in at the same time.

You'll need to designate the console as the account's "home xbox". On your home xbox any account that is signed in can enjoy any content you've purchased. If the console isn't the account's home xbox though, Zen is correct, you'll need to be signed in for
anyone else to use content you've purchased.

It's not supposed to "make things cheaper".

It was a compromise to allow multiple family members to play a game one account bought digitally, so a digital game works similar to a physical disc game.

If a game purchase were strictly tied to only one single user, families or similar household groups would be at a disadvantage compared to physical purchases.

To make digital purchases more attractive to customers, they had to find a way to allow multiple users to use the same purchase, without allowing misuse.
