    Digital games not transferring between two xbox ones.


    Hi my friend has two xbox ones ( one for each parent house) and he has many games downloaded on his original Xbox but when he is signed in on another xbox some of the games don't show up in the ready to install and prompt him to buy them again. This does
    not happen with all of his games. He has hard reset his xbox before, he has made it his home xbox and is not part of the preview program. Is there a way to fix this we can't seem to find much online with the same problem.

    Hey there ITry,

    The License Transfer tool is for transferring your licenses between two consoles that you own, like you buy a new console or get a new hard drive, so that you keep access to all of your games. It is not for transferring your licenses to a friend's console.

    You cannot transfer data between two accounts, so all saved games and achievements (including of course digital content you have purchased) will remain linked to your account, the new one will start from scratch.

    there is no difference between digital and physical copies when it comes to safe games. Please make sure that you purchase the Xbox series version of the game, because that's what you were playing on cloud. The saved files are not transferable between the Xbox one, 360, and series versions

    If the DLC are on two different Microsoft accounts then you will have to buy again as the digital licences are not transferable between accounts/ accounts can not be merged.
