Digital games not installing

It's not a "DLC code", just a digital copy of the game.

Yes, one can use the disc to install a game, then activate a digital copy. The digital copy will not need to re-download, it'll automatically use the disc install.

A couple weeks ago my already installed games weren't updating just getting stuck some would download all the way to 80% some only 5% . i know its not my internet the issue started the day the new star wars game came out and i just downloaded it before my
other games updates. So i did the mac address reset new DNS. Hard restarted my xbox canceled and tried redownloading ETC..... over and over for a week

Figured maybe my hard drives are corrupt and reformatted my external 4TB and factory reset my console 1TB and deleted everything. Started to download games but ONLY some will download still and other do not they just get stuck. Currently still having the
issue with multiple games big and small downloads and it sucks.

Im going to bring my Xbox Monday to a buddies house and see if it works there. If not ill just file transfer/copy all my games from his xbox because we gameshare. besides that i have no solution neither does Microsoft the tech support is a waste of time.

I would recommend you to forward Xbox live ports to your router for your router to communicate well with Xbox live. Once the ports are added, restart your router for the changes to take in effect.

Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open on your router:

  Port 88 (UDP)
  
• 
  Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
  
• 
  Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
  
• 
  Port 80 (TCP)
  
• 
  Port 500 (UDP)
  
• 
  Port 3544 (UDP)
  
• 
  Port 4500 (UDP)
  

Try stopping all downloads and clearing up some memory and only do one download at a time and see if that helps, you may have to delete a few games to clear up some room.

This process has been so disappointing.. I still haven't gotten anywhere with getting this fixed. I'd pay whatever for premium support at this point.

So far in a week I've had two updates. One agent after a couple days recommended I try downloading the games on a different network. I had already told them I tried over a mobile network, and also my neighbors WiFi and the games/apps stop installing at
precisely the same spot regardless of network. It's definitely not my connection. After reminding them we already went through that troubleshooting step I didn't hear anything for a few days.

Another agent gave me an update saying sorry there haven't been any responses and be patient while they work on the case. Then closed with "once I receive your response with the needed information, I'll start processing your controller exchange request".
um who said anything about a controller?

Not good support so far. I pay for xbox live, game pass, and have easily a few $100 in digital games and I'm unable to install any of them on my xbox one and xbox one X. This needs to be elevated to a higher level where I can work with a technician directly.

Please help :\
