    Digital game sharing between different xbox series x in same house


    My 3 kids have an xbox series x each. One of them purchased Harry Potter game as a digital download but he has been unable to share it with his brother. It's an expensive game so I don't want to have to buy a second copy for him, we need some advice on how to share it.

    Son 1 downloaded it onto his xbox, set as his home xbox, son 2 wants to also play it but transfer fails. All xbox's are on the same wifi network.

    Hello Maseratimaniac, on your Xbox One, sign in to your console with the same account that purchased your Harry Potter Game and put it as the primary on your console so it can be shared on your console.

    Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

    Thats not how it works

    Son 1 console 1

    Son 2 console 2

    Son 1 makes console.2 his home console

    Son 2 can use the game only on console 2

    Son 1 signs in online and plays on console 1 and uses the game only while.connected online

    Network.transfer is for.faster transfer not for.ownership or use

    Ownership remains with the profile

    And only can be used by the owner until home console is designated for that console

    Xbox one games are just xbox one games .

    Series consoles have s or x requirements physical or digital plus the power difference
