    I want to get a couple of games for my son digitally, but don’t want him to get the games before Christmas. Is there anyway to get them without him knowing? We share an xbox.

    Another thing to add.... when at your friends house... it will DL, that game to his HDD.... once you leave and sign out.. your buddy will get an option... delete the game... or purchase it... no need to DL it again as it is there,,, he might also have
    the option to just leave it expecting for you to come back over again... but that is a null point and i am not sure about that one...

    They said your games will work as they do now - it stands to reason that if you can take a disc to play it at a friend's house, then you'll be able to download your digital game onto your friend's Xbox - it just won't be playable unless you're signed in.

    I am sure bird is wrong on his first answer, Microsoft have said you can play any digital game on another console if you sign in and download it, it was only family share that is missing from the current model due to the reverse on the 24 hour sign in :(
