I have two accounts on xbox 360.

There both mine but my friend uses my other one.

I downloaded the new CoD game on my one account then when my friend got on he went to go try it the game wouldn't start even though that account didn't download the game shouldn't still work? I have black ops 1 n 2 downloaded on my account and he can still
play it. ( Were using the same xbox )

only thing we lost with the DRM reversal was the family share (however you thought it would work), the disc-less play and 24 hr check in. You will still be able to sign into your account on a friends XB1 and access your games.. since all games you purchase
through XBL are stored in the cloud, as well as on your HDD, if those games you installed are from disc, you would need the disc at your friends house...just like how it is today

Hey there, so are we speaking on the Xbox One console here? You said you download the game on your 'one' account. What does this mean?

I'm going to assume this is the 360 console as you've said BO 1 and 2 are on there. Is he booting up the game while connected to the internet or offline? If offline, I would first suggest connecting to the internet and seeing how it goes.

Another way (which is no ideal) is having the account that original downloaded it signed in while he plays as this should let him start the game.

Lastly, did you download this on a different console originally? If so, you would need to transfer the license across before he can use the game:

support.xbox.com/.../download-content

I downloaded it using xbox 360 marketplace since i can't play discs anymore.

I have downloaded black ops 1 n 2 on my demonic account but the other account i have on my 360 still can play the games i downloaded on my demonic account.

I couldn't play Call of duty advance warfare on any account but my demonic account. When we play were always online and no matter which way we do it online or offline. It always says "Can't launch advanced warfare".

Another thing to add.... when at your friends house... it will DL, that game to his HDD.... once you leave and sign out.. your buddy will get an option... delete the game... or purchase it... no need to DL it again as it is there,,, he might also have
the option to just leave it expecting for you to come back over again... but that is a null point and i am not sure about that one...

They said your games will work as they do now - it stands to reason that if you can take a disc to play it at a friend's house, then you'll be able to download your digital game onto your friend's Xbox - it just won't be playable unless you're signed in.

I am sure bird is wrong on his first answer, Microsoft have said you can play any digital game on another console if you sign in and download it, it was only family share that is missing from the current model due to the reverse on the 24 hour sign in
