Digital game purchased from M.S. shows installed but its not!

hello all, quick question for you. Has anyone purchased a digital game from the store for pinball fx3 and history shows purchase and that the game is installed. when i go into fx3 to open the bundle i just purchased it has a green downloading arrow next
to all three games, E.T, Back to the future, and jaws and transfers me to buy it as a gift, it had a install icon, that went away and changed up to play, then that went away, and now there is nothing except buy as a gift. The free fish game downloaded just
fine and i can play it, so i know that i can download a game and open it at least. I have uninstalled the bundle once, then the whole game and bundle together, reinstalled both and it still has the same issue. tried virtual assistance and a live chat, with
no help from either. lets see which one of you can be the hero of the day.

i do believe that if i had switched to another account or device, i would have to buy to own the game right? i just recently purchased this xbox one x and pinball fx3 is one of two games i have on it. i almost think i made a mistake buying this console,
since i cant even successfully purchase a pinball game for 10 bucks and install it, my ps4 is a heck of alot easier to buy, download and play a game within one hour, ive been trying to get this to load for two days now. frustrating.

yep same device to play the game. same user account, i just tried the install from online to my console, but that hasnt worked either.

Have you tried highlighting Pinball Fx3 from the Xbox guide then press Start (the one with 3 lines)
on your controller then select Manage Game & Addons and see if the tables/packs are in
Ready to Install, if so select the tables/pack and install. If that doesn't work you could try reaching out to the game publishers Zen Studios at

Are you using the same device/console to play the game ? Or have you switched to another one?

Were these digitally purchased games or were they games installed from disks? If they were originally installed from disks, then they still need to have the disks inserted to authenticate ownership. If they were digital purchases, do they show up in your accounts purchase history and what happens when you try to redownload them from that purchase history?
