Digital game purchase for xbox

You would purchase the game digitally through the Xbox store or purchase a digital code from a retailer. Microsoft does not provide digital codes for faulty discs.

Yes, it works, as do all Xbox 360 games, on disc or digital. The digital version was removed for digital purchase in 2018. This was because the licenses for the various real life aircraft expired.

The removal (delisting) of any game for digital purchase does not affect digital purchases before it was removed from sale (your game will still work), nor does it affect the disc versions.

For digital games here is the relevant paragraph from microsoft’s terms of sale:

For complete details on refunds for digital game offers, Xbox apps (excluding movies and tv apps), digital gaming bundle offers, and digital durable and consumable gaming offers, such as games season passes, virtual currency, and microtransactions,

I think the only solution is to request a refund again, but Microsoft does say digital purchases are final and are only reviewed under certain circumstances.
