Digital Downloads of Call of Duty Games

I have recently purchased Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 2 from the xbox store. both digital downloads. BO2 worked for about a week, MW3 has not worked at all. Both come up with the following error message:

Do you own this game or app?

If you have a game disc, insert it now. If you purchased this online, make sure you are signed in to Xbox live. If you dont have rights for playing it, you'll need to get them from the Microsoft Store (0x803F8001)

I have gone through all the trouble shooting options. Still will not work. I am signed in with the account that purchased them, i have removed the account and set up again. I have un installed the games and re-installed. Full power down and back up etc....

If you purchased a digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, you can upgrade your game for free within your console family. This offer is valid until March 31, 2105.

Please note: Free digital upgrades are available November 4 in your region.

Follow the steps below to upgrade your digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare:

PlayStation 3 → PlayStation 4

Log into your PlayStation 4 using the same SEN account (PSN ID) used to buy/redeem the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Base Game or Season Pass on PlayStation 3.

Navigate to the digital content’s location in the PlayStation Store.

Add the item to your download queue and wait for the download to complete.

Xbox 360 → Xbox One

Log into your Xbox One using the same Microsoft Account (Xbox Live Account) used to buy/redeem the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Base Game or Season Pass on Xbox 360.

Navigate to the digital content’s location in the Xbox Store.

Add the item to your download queue and wait for the download to complete.

Also wanted to add...I did buy the Digital Download version of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

 

Hello!

Currently there does seem to be an emerging issue regarding Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles being played on Xbox One. More information will be made public as soon as it becomes available. In the mean time I recommend you try uninstalling and reinstalling
the game or a (keep my games and apps)
Factory Reset (keep in mind you will need your Microsoft account email and password to recover your accounts). Please let us know with a reply to see how it goes.

Have you tried clearing your Local Xbox 360 saves?

Hi, lots of backwards compatibility games are not available for download via the Xbox Store. And in such a case, those games that are in BC only work from CDs / DVDs.
