Digital Downloads - need some clarification on where the license is bonded. The console or ...

Mainly, my friend would like to sell me his Xbox One.

He has Ghosts downloaded as a digital download on the console. Will this game be playable on my account after I recover onto the Xbox One?

Will the game still be playable if he picks up another console later on down the road and recovers his account?

Will the game stay if he recovers his account onto a 360?

this sound very familiar to an issue I had with an arcade game where it was revert back to a trial every time. the issue was due to license conflicts, where i had purchased the game on a friends console. so awhile i owned the game, the digital license belongs
offline to the original console, so every time I played the game at home it need me to re-download the game.

if this is the case for you in anyway the solution for you would be to transfer the license to you console. the following link will walk you thought the process

Are there any new Bond games in development?

I don't think any publisher even has the James Bond video game license any more. Activision, the last known rights holder, punted away the license after Bloodstone and Legends, going so far as to pull its Bond games from Steam and other digital distribution channels.

My hunch is that the lack of a recent Bond game to tie in with SPECTRE is due to a difference in philosophy. Since GoldenEye on N64, Bond games have mostly treated him almost as a mass murderer, which probably causes Barbara Brocolli and EON some discomfort.

 

The license is assigned to your account.

This is so you can take your profile with you and still have access to your games.

So no, you won't have access to it if you get the Xbox One unless he gives you his Xbox account with it too.

Each account has a "home" Xbox. On this Xbox, any games that the account has purchased will be available to all accounts on that Xbox; this is why you can currently play on it. If he changes his home Xbox to a new one, you won't have that ability.
