Digital downloads/gamertag question

I am trying to buy an xbox one on craigslist for a friend. The xbox in question is said to come with some digital games already installed. How does this work? Can my friend, with his own gamertag, play these games? I kind of thought it was tied to the person's
gamertag. It's probably more simple than I'm making it out, but the thought process is throwing me for a loop.

Xbox One Gamesharing specific question

We have 3 xbox ones and 3 gamertags.

If Console A belongs to Gamertag A, and likewise with B and C

We buy a game with Console/Gamertag A

Console/Gamertag B sets Console A as its home console and downloads that game.

*Here's the question*

Can Console/Gamertag B then switch its home console to Console C and still be able to play the game downloaded from Console/Gamertag A.

that is true all digital downloads are linked to sed gamertag if no gamertag is resent then no digital games will be present either

 

The purchased games are tied to the other person's Gamertag. The other person has probably set the console as his Home, which makes them playable on any other Tag, but as soon as the seller decides to change Home console to any other One that makes the games
unplayable on the console you purchased.

Your friend *could* technically play these games, but it's entirely at the whim of the seller and the owner of the Gamertag that purchased these games, so I strongly advise to not be lured into paying extra for those games as they could disappear at any
point; it's beyond your control. And the selling of Gamertags (such as the one owning the games) is against the Xbox Live Code of Conduct and Terms of Use.

 

dont buy a console with digital games. Once the owner changes his home console or lets his XBL account lapse or cancel.. those games are gone... you can buy the console if you wish,,, just do not pay for the games...
