you should be more worried about the game developers pulling the rights and you losing your game completely with going "all digital". that and the fact they want to charge you full retail price as physical without the same physical rights to sell/lend/trade
in/give away your digital rights.

Once you sign into your account on the other console, anything you own will show as ready to install in your games and apps. you would redownload it from there.

Ms could've used you during that protest bloggers spread misinformation to get it reversed

For now you will have to wait till always connected to be reintroduced as an option for that Phil Spencer said it could be reintroduced

One of the options of always connected was to buy and sell your Games even lend them out for 48hours minus the marketplace fee

The always on allowed them to check that you deleted the local copy first

You should head to Xbox Feedback with your suggestion to show support for the idea. That site is read by the engineering team to gauge interest in new features and ideas.

It's possible the idea already exists there, in which case showing your support is as easy as voting for the ideas already there.

Are you downloading from a disc or a digital download? It took about 5 hours to download call of duty as a digital game. If downloading the digital version it will take quite a while depending on your internet speed. If downloading from a disc try disconnecting
from the internet and downloading the game that way.

Im trying to download a digital game instead of a disc, weirdly all of the digital games I have tried to download do not work. Could it be because they’re digital?

digital items will be available for digital downloads but obviously any physical items will not be. so depending on what is offered, you will be able to take advantage of digital bonuses if you choose to download digital. for instance, the Ryse bonus sword
being offered for Day One games will be both at retail and digital download. etc.

You would have to purchase the game digitally in order to download it. There is no way to download the digital version just by owning the disc.

BC games do not install from the disc, but are downloaded digitally from the store.
