Digital download won't start

    Digital download won't start


    bought game digitally. Downloaded it and after i select that I want to play it just goes to a black screen

    Digital games won't start

    This was likely due to a service alert that was up effecting the ability to play downloaded games and apps. You should be able to use them now that the alert has lifted. If you continue to have this problem please post back.

    Digital games won't start

    I signed in today and I tried starting up Rainbow six siege and it said that I need to sign in as the person who bought the game. I am the person who bought the game, then it also told me that I had to make my Xbox my "home Xbox" I have done everything
    it's telling me to do and it still won't let me start any of my digital games. What's going on? Please help.

    The plot thickens. I've changed the location that downloads install to and it has made no difference. Same error.

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi there,

    It seems as though you've done a good process of elimination with troubleshooting. When you first started using the external hard drive, do you remember if it prompted you to format it?

    This can be a very long and painful process i understand. Are you able to move the games you'd like to play over to the internal storage before formatting the external hard drive?

    Even with pre download,i won't start to play a new game at midnight.Only after getting back from work.

    I'm more interested by digital pre order bonuses.

    And Microsoft are working on these features among others.
