    The Downloaded version of Advanced Warfare will not play IF Xbox Live is down because
    Microsoft has BUILT in the
    software a ANTI VERIFICATION program. It can’t verify that the game is yours and you bought it like the disk can. So even though you bought it, you can’t play it. I was told this by the
    Techs at Microsoft as well at Activision. I’m thinking of filing a complaint with the BBB and with my States AG’s office for this.
    They owe me something for the Game. No mater what is said, the inconvenience of having to deal with this as well and having to deal with my handicapped son during this and all. They knew this existed. YOU can’t
    tell me with all the IQ’s of all those people that they didn’t either.

    Hi everyone Driver San Francisco xbox 360 game is now backward compatible with xbox one

    I own the digital xbox games on demand vision however I cannot see it under (Ready to install)

    Evan if I search the xbox one store or the xbox.com website I'm unable to find and download this game that I own,

    anyone earls having this issue?

    They are having an issue with being able to verify that you own the game.

    Were they digital downloaded games? You should have a library of games bought (Digitally).

    Hi Dew77,

    The reply I got from the moderator was very disturbing. "We get that this is frustrating but Xbox is having troubles verifying that you own the game because you own a digital copy"

    I did not realize when I paid $50 to "download" a game from Xbox that I cannot play it offline unless I go online every time so Xbox can verify it. I don't play online but use my Live account for extras from the game developer. I don't think they
    should control my use of the games. They Xbox system should be able to verify the copy and as you suggested, "validation that takes some time to expire. The next time the system is online, it can extend it".

    Yes, since you are trying to access the downloaded content on a different console than the one your game was downloaded on, you're required to be signed into Live to verify you own the game.

    What do I have to show you my credit card statement to prove that I bought? What about the other thousands of people that xbox "can't verify that THEY own the game". Seriously, this is a non-answer at best, and at worst confirms what I am saying.
