Digital Download w/ disc read issues on 360 :(

I bought the digital download via xbox live.

I downloaded Advanced Warfare(7.40gb) to my 120gb HDD, which did take long at all. (maybe 1-2 hours)

However, when I try and play the game I get disc read error before I can start single player or multiplayer.

I cleared my system cache, deleted/reinstalled the game over and over and over and over.

I'm in the process of downloading it again.

I think this will be my 7th time downloading the game.

HALO 4 and digital copy (marketplace download) Also any other new game...

they should be all digital downloads or at least give us that option to either buy the game disc copy or buy it $15 cheaper digitally! and another reason they should make them digital download (ac 3,X COM, etc.) eventually your 360 will not read the game
disk any longer no matter if you buy the cleaning kit or not! so in a way what good are those game disc if they can't no longer be read. I am one for DIGITAL DOWNLOAD. becuase my 360 can no longer read game discs. I'm on my 7th 360 console!. I can't play halo
4! becuase my console can't read it! and I refuse to buy a new 360 console ( which would be my 8th one) becuase the same problem will show it self!. so I'M ALL FOR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD. hopefully the 720 or what ever the new microsoft home console will be named,
will have digital download. and hopefully it won't cost us $400 or $500

 

Physical 360 Games - Turned Digital For BC on Xbox One? Solution:

Any opinions or thoughts on the process of converting our physical 360 disc copies of BC games into pure digital downloads for the Xbox One? I know I can download and install a digital imprint of a BC game on my Xbox One using a 360 disc. But I still need that disc as a key.

A solution I can come up with is registering a product code that appears on both the physical disc and the case so the user can claim a digital copy of the game for use of BC. I'm sure some people will use this to issue free copies of random 360 games to friends on their Xbox Ones. But it would throw a major bone to owners who still have our 360 games and kept the packaging. I know if my currently owned BC 360 games were digital, I'd be inclined to play them more on my Xbox One.

 

I am having the same problem. I also get a campaign content removed error when the game does load.

 

All you have to do is hit campaign it will tell you to dl now hit that and a window will open show 2 dlc both are under 2 gb each let them download do nothing else then once finished you be able to play the campaign
