Digital download version and nothing but problems

I purchased the digital download version of Halo: Master Chief Collection on the day of release as I was told it would allow me to start playing right at midnight. I got my copy code through Gamestop and was told that I would be able to start downloading
at 9PST as this correspoded with midnight EST. Would not even start download till Midnight local time, which was bad enough. Was told I could play while download happened in the background once the version(Halo, Halo2, ...) had finished downloading. Would
not launch any of the completed downloads, even though it said I could click start on the screen, at least until the entire game had downloaded. Huge download and very slow. decided to play in the morning and left system on to finish downloading. When I turned
the system on in the morning found it had gone into standby and did not finish downloading in the background(a Feature that was touted for the Xbox One) and had to wait a few more hours for it to finish and even when done still had to do a full shutdown/reset
on the xbox before it would let me play. As with everyone else, I have had Multiplayer issues since day one. Even had problems getting my roommate into my party and his xbox is on the same network as mine. Was not able to participate in the Halo5 multiplayer
beta for some reason. Stayed grayed out throughout the entire beta period. Decided to at least watch the Nitghtfall videos a couple days ago and it will let me click on Nightfall which launches HaloTV but when I click on the episodes it says buy Nightfall
and even if I click there it flips me back into Halo so I can click on Nightfal, which sends me back to HaloTV, and rinse and repeat. And I won't even go into all of the matchmaking bugs. This has been the worst gaming experience I have had to date and I have
been playing games since the original Atari. At this point I am rethinking weither or not to even buy future games for the xbox at all if this is the best that even the In-house game studio can give us. Do we have any idea when Halo: MCC will even be a real
game? With, you know, access to all of the basic features of the game?

Digital Downloads - Any Links of Info on them yet?

From what i gather that is nothing to do with it being the digital download version. The problem occurs if you install from the disc then play it. The problem is to do with reading it from the hard drive and as all next gen games MUST to be installed to the hard drive, if it is still a problem it will be a problem with digital and and disc versions.

 

CD version and Digital Download version

I am wandering and suffering of the problem that you buy a game as a DVD version and accedantly the DVD is scrached or stop working and you lose all rights to play the game so if we are buying the licens to play of the software why not to make it all
DVD's availabel contenants downloadable just by inserting the original copy so no piracy is posible since you still need the DVD to start the game, but at least the youser dont have to pay twice for the same game. which is unfair.
