Digital download - installation stopped

Hi Xbox team,

Need some help please, I've googled for days, read up on solutions, as well as tried some of them as posted on Xbox Troubleshooting, or what other Xbox Ambasodors have recommended.......and to no avail, my digital downloads or any games for that matter,
as well as any updates, all download to a certain GB size or percentage then just stop.

I'm not sure if this is common, but been experiencing this issue for about two weeks now.

I've tried - clearing cache, hard restart, deleting game and reinstalling, restarting router, and finally a full reset, but all these options were unsuccessful.

My router and download speed is good, and there is no block from my ISP, so I can only assume that the issue lies with the actual Xbox.

Could this be software related perhaps?

It first become apparent when I tried to download Gears 5..now it's all games, whether installed or new games, and updates.

Totally at a loss now..any suggestion, please?

Wifi connection, and installed a new router recently..so defs think is either the new router or the ISP, as when I use my phone as a hotspot, downloads resume. Thanks for the pointer!

Hi!

As suggested, try to connect the console with an ethernet cable. Then try to clear the alternate MAC address from the console: Settings->Network->Network Settings->Advanced Settings->Alternate MAC Address->Clear->Restart.

Also, try to set a
static IP to the console so you don't have any conflicts with DHCP or filters on the router.

Finally check that all ports are open on the router.

I am connected to the internet, and my Xbox Live services are all running fine. Like I said, I have tried all the options as offered on the Xbox Troubleshooting pages, and still the issue continues.

i have never encountered this issue but try unplugging the hardrive then replugging it in. Maybe try deleting the game then installing it fully on the hard drive

Hello TMG, I recently had the same issue with my Black Ops III and it was due to scratches on the disc. Next time it does that look for an error code. I would suggest thoroughly cleaning the disc and trying to download it again.
