Digital copy doesn't work without internet

I no longer have internet due to a house move and have found that my digital copy of resident evil 6 doesn't work, the game just doesn't load.

However other digital games do?

Does anyone know if you need an active internet connection to play the digital version of this game?

Boozy, you are trying a digital copy aren't you? It doesn't work with hard copies

 

purchasing a physical copy of a game after already owning the digital.

Sadly you can't. The digital DLC will work for your disc copy but the Bloody Jason Skin and clothing pack for counselors from the physical copy only work for the physical copy, not the digital.

I believe the progress you have made as well doesn't carry over either. So you can use the physical copy with the digital DLC but you sacrifice any progress you made on the digital (unlocked Jasons, kills, counselors, etc)

 

A lot of times digital game wont work without a internet connection. The reason being is that the Xbox need to check that you have the right license to play that game and it cant check without you online.
