Digital Content License

I just upgraded to the Xbox One S. After hooking it up and connecting my external hard drive it recognized all my content that was on the external drive. I was able to launch everything I tried playing, but when I tried accessing The Underground DLC for
The Division it said that I didn't own the content. I checked my hard drive and it was showing as being installed and the store said I owned the content. I removed the content and reinstalled it and it allowed me to access it afterwards. Do you have to transfer
digital content licenses for Xbox One just like you had to for Xbox 360? If so, how do you transfer digital content licenses for Xbox One?

I was able to access Destiny DLC without having to remove and re-install. Not sure if it was just random for The Division DLC or if I'd have to remove and reinstall all my other digital content. Any help with this issue is appreciated!

Actually, you would only need to buy it twice.

You just have to set up as home the account with which you purchased the DLC in the new console. For further info:

support.xbox.com/.../my-home-xbox

 

I've already set the new console as my home Xbox, so it must've just been random that the DLC wasn't recognized by the game. Thank you for letting me know!!
