    I have my own Microsoft account but play Xbox games on a profile under my friend's Xbox account. If I add a digital code for a game on my account, will it be playable on my profile on my friend's Xbox account?

    It won't be playable on your friend's account since your friend's account is the one set as the home Xbox on the console since you mentioned that you can play games from him or her. It means that game sharing is enabled through his or her account.

    With digital add-on type content it tends to be bound to the account purchasing it or transacting the code. This is especially true for coin type currency in any game that cannot be shared or transferred.

    Once a 25 digit code has been used you wont be able to use it again.

    Digital games and DLC wont be able to transfer from one account to another.

    Only way you can share the game is by using the Gameshare feature between 2 consoles/accounts.
