    I have two microsoft accounts, one for my PC and one for my phone which is linked to my xbox account. I pre-ordered Halo Infinite on my phone through amazon. On halo launch day I attempted to redeem digital code but amazn said issue with payment and to log in on desktop. There was no issue and I hit redeem and code was sent to my desk microsoft account not affiliated with my xbox.

    Myself and couple of friends have been scouring the internet as microsoft support was non-existent. Till this day I cant find a way and I need to get my halo fix lol! Appreciate if anyone within the community can assist.

    Is it a 9 digit code or a 25 digit code? 9 digit codes are for microsoftstore.com. You would have to make the purchase there and it gives you the option to add a promo code during checkout. You would have to contact their customer support for issues with
    entering the code.

    25 digit codes are Xbox codes and would be redeemed to your account before you make a purchase.
    It's a 9 digit code. When I go the Microsoft store site and try to purchase it, it brings up the store app from windows 10. There is no place to enter the 9 digit code. only the 25 digit ones

    microsoft account alias rename not working

    I already get that 7 digit code. There is a second verification code that ops up. Verifying the new alias I'm trying to put it. It's a 4 digit code.

    The 7 digit code is for verifying it's me actually changing stuff. The 4 digit code is for veryifing my new alias. Which the 4 digit code part doesnt work. I'm sure that might be the last step it just doesnt work.

    That is not correct. The code is 20 digits, while the PC redeem codes are 25 digits.

    Sometimes codes with less than 25 digits must be redeemed on a different web site to get the 25 digits code. Such codes come with hardware for ex..
