Currently the only way to use the Dlc on Xbox is to buy the game digitally. Redeemed codes for the physical copy download but are not recognized in game. None of the user side troubleshooting methods work for anyone with this problem. And since the gaming community has tried everything we could. The solution either lies with Xbox and/or the Developers.

I think that this issue lies more on the developers
It seems is the physical version the one with the issue.

Yesterday when Digimon Survive released I purchased same day as a gift and yesterday it was showing up on the spotlight list so there shouldn't be an issue

to recover the Guilmon DLC in Digimon Survive
In order to obtain this Digimon, you must have completed the video game tutorial. Once this is done, you should have access to the pause menu.
