Difficulty playing original Xbox Game on Xbox 360 (Stuck on splash screen)

I recently bought an original Xbox game (Tony Hawk 3) to play on Xbox 360. However, when I try to play the game it loads to the original Xbox splash screen but it gets stuck there. The game seems to continue as normal and pressing buttons skips the intro
cutscenes and navigates the game menus but the splash screen never goes away so the game is kind of impossible to play. I don't know if it's the disc (there aren't any scratches on it) or something with the Xbox. I checked the list of Backwards Compatible
games for the 360 and Tony Hawk 3 is on there.

I've tried these solutions

Clearing the system cache

Deleting all of the system updates and reinstalling them

I would really appreciate some help here.

(Nevermind I found a fix, here's what happened

I kept searching and found a website that says you gotta change your resolution to 480p (under Console settings) and it worked perfectly)

i can't even get to the dashboard. i'm stuck at the 360 splash screen.

Same problem! I did get it to work once. The xbox 360 splash screen was laggy and the sound was weird, but after that the game worked fine until I quit, then it started freezing on the xbox 360 splash again. Glad I'm not the only one with this problem; I
LOVE this game and REALLY want to be able to play it again.

Could you try powering off the console,remove the power cable from the console and press the power button several times, reconnect the power cable and try the console again.

can you check how the system responds when you remove the hard drive:support.xbox.com/.../add-remove-hard-drive

if it is starting up quickly, then it has something to do with the hard drive or the content on the hard drive.

Please check if there are any corrupt files, and you could also try to see what happens when a different profile signs in, to determine if it is limited to a single profile, if it is only one profile, try to redownload the profile (only possible if it is
connected to a Microsoft Account) to see if that solves the issue.
