Difficulty level no longer selectable

In the MS Solitatire collection, I can no longer choose the difficulty level - it just comes up as Random by default. There is no "Remember difficulty level' switch, nor does turning the "difficulty selection" option on and off. So I'm stuck playing random, which I hate (I want to know that the deal can be solved).

On the Daily Challenges, there is no "show difficulty selection" to click on.

I've been playing the Daily Challenges. Most of the games I play, I choose the hard level. However, there was no option in the Daily Challenges to choose a level. I'm stuck on Easy and Medium on 2 of them and want to change to Hard. There is a triple bar in the upper left corner but it doesn't include to change difficulty level. Am I stuck with easy and medium? Thanks...

No 'Repair' but there was a 'Reset' and that fixed it - thanks!

Hi Bernie, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Let's then repair the game and then check again if we can manage the difficulty level.

Settings > Apps & Features > Apps > Search for the title of the game > Advanced Options > Repair.

After that restart your PC and then follow the steps below:

1. Go to "Menu" and "Game Options".

2. Make sure 'Show Difficulty Selection' is turned ON.

3. This will prompt a pop-up window with each puzzle to select the draw and level of difficulty.

What are the "Developers"? I have set all games to "show difficulty level" but the difficulty level always come up as "random". I used to get a screen with all the difficulty levels so that I can choose a level before the game starts. As I see it, that option is no longer there and that sucks.
