    When I sign into xbox live and try to redeem my new gold membership card I get this message:

    Server Error in '/' Application.

    Runtime Error
    Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed
    by browsers running on the local server machine.

    I'm having the same exact issue with trying to redeem my Xbox Live Gold Card.
    I just called tech support. they are having some kind of difficulties with the codes redeeming. the tech said it could take anywhere from 1 hour to 72 hours to fix!! that's all I could get out of anyone at Xbox Suppot

    Had a 12 month gold card gifted to me on Christmas, but my console and the website both say the subscription ends in July, why?

    It was a 12 month gold card, I had gamepass before I redeemed the gold card so it should have just added the 12 months to my gamepass
