    Previously had trouble with downloading Halo: The Master Chief Collection in full as a Microsoft Gamepass title.

    It appears to work if I first stop the listings of the games themselves, if left to its own devices to start all the downloads at the same time, it comes up with an error message.

    Could this be because the "Halo: Master Chief Collection" download is a prerequisite for the actual games themselves? As in they're structured as add-ons or something? I'm still trying to get used to the bizarre way MS Store stuff
    downloads; feels like Steam did about 10 years ago.

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.
