    Difficulty creating an Xbox live account for my 9 year old


    I am trying to create an Xbox live account for my 9 year old, and got through all the steps but cannot find where to give permission through my parent account so he can play a game. I have been at this for hours now, and just can't do it. I am about fed up with this nonsense. I need help now.

    Hello, Majestik!

    You can set which games your son can and cannot play by following the steps below:

    Settings > Account > Family settings > Manage family members

    After this you can simply select your son's account and you will see a few options for online safety.

    Hi Francia J. I have the same question as colleenbarnard when I created my Xbox account I accidently put my age to I believe 9 years old. At the time I was laughing it off and then realized that there are many restrictions that come with this. I am a repeated member of Xbox Gamepass and do not wish to make another account with the money on this account. How can I switch my listed age to an adult specifically 22 years old? I am on PC and Xbox.
